the beams of dawn
.. the winning streaks

Slipping Out of the Body Cage
God put 30% more sands
in the lifetime hourglass of one..

OH OHIO
.. Our River Ohio
where you did flow
.. marked
the unlocking
of chains of slavery
.. as people crossed
to freedom
through bravery

STAGE WHISPERS
The wind gave several stage whispers
to the willows waiting in riparian
wings

ROSE MERRY
Shedding his rays
of unconditional grace
the sun rose merry
over Tom and Rosemary

DECIDER
To the apple tree
said the sun:
I’m the decider
as to which apples
become
cider.

up of hymns

was not listening
