Across the sky
the beams of dawn
.. the winning streaks
of light
which effortlessly
melt the night

Slipping Out of the Body Cage

God put 30% more sands
in the lifetime hourglass of one..
and 50% more birthday candles
on the cherry pie of another..
and patted the hand of a third..
and her lifeline was doubled..
but there was a fourth..
in the magnetic field
of ecstasy
his earthclock stopped..

Up peep and pop the poppy pods
Does scotching them please Papa God?

killed by narcs.
Who love poppies for themselves?

Merely drop the seed in a little furrow finger made
One need not dig…. to grow figs
